oil on wood panel | 12x12 inch with 1.5 inch cradle | $210
a poetic passing
daily interactions stirred with dramatic doses.
social seasons in the clouds
of cotton candy truths
and sky high illusions.
secretly savoring for the storm.
the moment of raw truth.
unfiltered and unpredictable consequences.
It was supposed to punish you.
the rust and the rot.
but rather, the sour tasted bitter sweet.
a un-forecasted freedom for flight.

ABOUT the work.

often my work comes from a simple feeling to paint. I do not dig deeper than that and really try to embrace a joy that I found a moment where I can cultivate a creative energy on canvas and visually see where my mind takes me with my hands, I look for the humor in most things and therefore do not take art seriously but rather a release by doing something I love. I appreciate the ability I have

a few years ago however, i realized painting has always been in my life at times I needed a quiet challenge and internal pause. A sort of therapy with self praise as showing my art for confirmation of worth was a dread. I knew of my talents but could not swallow showing and sharing to a level of opening myself up.

we as humans go day to day towards a beacon tare must shift ourselves to new horizons. Destinations unknown but unconscienciously feel right, We prepare little but learn big. Discovering oneself through turmoil, forced choices and ugly truths.

Relationships are built from a foundation to last but little do we realize that the people we meet in our lives each have purpose. And sometimes, the reason is a tough teach.

this series of pillowy palettes and weather warnings are personal works that taught me even life's most challenging moments will evolve and ones strength is built in the journey, not in living a life to be prepared to be strong for hard times.

At that time a few years back, I was a focused acrylic artist that emotionally picked up some oil paints to place more focus on the canvas but rather, abruptly began angerly painting with rapid brush strokes and layers and layers of a journey to make something beautiful from a situation placed upon me not by choice but a s

I started oil painting during a time I gained more studio time. Not neccesarily by choice but during a period in my life a few years back when relationships shifted and I had forced opportunities to reflect. It was a night in the studio t
